Global climate change impacts the future of urbanism. The is increasingly uncertain, and current responses in urban planning practice are often human-centered. In general, this a way to respond that oriented towards improving life people short term, extracting resources from environment at dangerous levels. This entire ecological system, turns out be negative for biodiversity, resilience, and, ultimately, human as well. Adaptation climatic requires long-term perspective based understanding nature. objective presented research find explorative ways unknown unknowns through designing holistically Zernike campus Groningen, Netherlands. methods used study comprise co-creative design-led approaches which capable integrating sectoral problems into visionary plan. findings show how embracing nature-driven design increases adaptive capacity, diversity, range healthy food grown on university campus. responds questions safety, growing conditions, water availability most pressing.
